Brass & Backroads started as a modpack I made to play with friends. The idea is pretty simple: add more things to do and explore without making Minecraft feel like a completely different game.

There's a big focus on exploration and building. Terralith changes up the world, towns and structures are more interesting, and Distant Horizons makes travelling actually feel like you're going somewhere. You can grab a ship, follow the coast, find somewhere nice and eventually realize you're thousands of blocks away from where you started.

Create is one of the bigger parts of the pack too. You can build factories, automate resources or spend six hours making a machine that would've taken five minutes to do by hand. Up to you.

There's also more food, building blocks, better combat, photography, instruments, proximity voice chat and a bunch of smaller additions that make a multiplayer world more fun to live in.
