Boundless - Gameplay Enhancement

This modpack is for my WIP server, BoundlessMC. Primarily focusing on gameplay enhancement and immersion, this careful selection of mods is designed to bring a fun gameplay experience without making too many changes to the game.

• Improved Farming and Food Mechanics – More crops are available for farmers through the Farmer's Delight mod, along with the Brewin' and Chewin' mod, allowing players to produce alcoholic beverages as well.

• Better Terrain Generation – The world feels more natural and diverse, with rolling hills, deep valleys, and biome transitions that blend seamlessly. Caves are more intricate, featuring unique underground biomes, while rivers, lakes, and mountain ranges create a more immersive exploration experience.

• Immersive and Ambient Sounds – Environmental audio is richer and more realistic. Birds chirp in forests, wind whistles through mountain passes, and caves echo with dripping water and distant creature sounds. This improved sound design enhances immersion and brings the world to life.

• More Detailed Animations – Entities and player actions have smoother, more realistic movements. The player’s mining, running, and combat animations feel more fluid and natural, adding to the sense of realism.

• Quality-of-Life Enhancements – Several essential mods improve upon other game mechanics and features, such as

  • Just Enough Items (JEI) – A comprehensive recipe and item lookup tool, allowing players to easily find crafting and smelting recipes.
  • AppleSkin – Displays hunger and saturation values, helping players manage food consumption more effectively.
  • Craft That Nametag and Craftable Saddles/Horse Armor –  Allows crafting of nametags, horse armor, and saddles.
  • Tetra –  Allows in-depth weapon customization through a workbench, giving you several methods to upgrade and improve your weapons.
  • Muskets –  Muskets are now in the game,
  • AstikorCarts – Carts which can be used to move large quantities of items or animals, along with a plow for easier farming.
  • Backpacks – Makes carrying stuff easier while exploring.
