A modpack I made for my modded server. As I'm releasing this, the modpack is still unfinished, so this can be considered a public beta.
The modpack contains a few magic mods including:
-"Ars Nouveau" + addons. Ars Nouveau adds 3 tiers of spellbooks and many, many glyphs. Glyphs are basically the building stones of spells. You can use up to 10 glyphs per spell, or just a simple 2 glyph spell. It uses source and mana for its magic, mana being what magic entities use, and source being what machines use. Source is used for magitech ranging from sourcelinks to create source through natural processes like metabolism, to automation of all kinds of tasks.
-"Iron's Spells and Spellbooks". This mod adds magic, but unlike Ars Nouveau, the spells in this mod are premade and not customisable. However, it has over 80 spells with levels to all of them. In this modpack, the max levels of some spells have been increased to account for the stronger mobs.
-"Vampirism". Vampirism adds vampires and vampire hunters. As a Vampire, you can turn into a bat and fly around, regenerate damage swiftly, get an adrenaline boost on command, and more. As a hunter, you can make stronger potions, weapons designed to kill vampires, and more. There's also the addon "Werewolves" which adds a 3rd faction called "Werewolves". As a werewolf, you get 3 new forms you can transform into, each with their own specialties. They all give you physical boosts, but one gives more speed while the other gives more strength.
And a few smaller magic mods are also included.
It also has tech, that mainly being:
-"Create" + addons. Create is a mod that adds rotation based mechanics to the game, with actual animations to the rotations, and many real life mechanics integrated into this mod. The addons include electric motors and generators, turning xp into a liquid, and most importantly, nuts.
-"Ad Astra". Ad Astra is a mod that adds 5 new dimensions, 4 of which being planets, and one being earth's moon. You can go there by making a rocket and a space suit. But be prepared, for some of these planets are more dangerous than others.
-"Tom's Simple Storage mod" + "Tom's Vending Machines". Tom's Storage is a mod that lets you connect all your chests and barrels into a single UI. Tom's Vending Machines is a mod that adds simple but effective vending machines, allowing secure player to player trading.
There's also a lot more including dungeons, bosses, 3 new dimensions, and an entire quest book(in development).
