Excavated variants - This, for whatever reason, makes joining a world or server take 2-3x as long. Should be way quicker to do these things now. You may want to retrogen ores.

Tips:
You can install immediately fast and it will work when joining servers, but creating/joining singleplayer worlds may not work, so it is not installed by default.
Given that world gen mods were updated here, be warned that the world may have some crazy chunk borders where generated and ungenerated chunks meet.
Delete your nether and end world files unless something important is in there.
