Before you lies a world like you have never seen. Beasts roam a vast wilderness that extends beyond comprehension. Ancient ruins lie quiet, save for the snarls of vile creatures of the dark, their treasures waiting to be plundered. Diverse peoples populate the last shelters for the flame of civilization, building monuments to their gods and homes for their children. Dragons soar across their ravaged territory, cyclopes tend to their sheep in seaside caves, and trolls hunt in the bowels of the earth. And then there is you, an enigmatic traveler with nothing but what you make. Create or destroy, dominate or join, slay or be slain, the world is yours to experience, a world of scorching deserts and frozen tundras, of savage undead and majestic monuments, of might and magic, and of blood and blades.

Blood and Blades is the ultimate fantasy modpack. All of the mods work well together, ensuring smooth gameplay and a lack of the overlap that is common in other modpacks. Many aspect of vanilla Minecraft have also been improved upon, such as a better 3rd person perspective or animals that have realistic models. Magic is is simple and straightforward. No more are the hours spent making complex rituals! Dungeons litter the land, far more than in vanilla. These dungeons range from massive to minor, and they greatly add to the atmosphere. Trees have been overhauled to make forests look amazing and grow like in real life! Terrain generation has been overhauled to provide actual mountains and nice-looking terrain that remains playable. Villages have real people, with which you can interact with. Terrifying monsters such as cyclopes and dragons live in lairs and caves. Killing these dangerous monsters can be easier with many more weapons at your disposal, such as war hammers and spears. If need be, you can sneak up on them, providing an actual choice between tough but loud heavy armor and quiet but soft light armor. The Nether and the End are vastly improved. Explore many strange and alien biomes in the once featureless dimensions! All of this in a pack that will work on slow computers. I know this because I made it on one!

IMPORTANT: I highly recommend installing Optifine separately to enhance performance. In addition, I cannot change the overlap in keybindings, so you must configure them to your preferences.
