Biscotto Vanilla is a vanilla+ pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, built for playing with friends. It still feels like Minecraft, just with better land to cross and better things to find along the way.
What's new
Updating
Unzip over the old version. Before starting the server:
- Update NeoForge to 21.1.251: nothing to do on a plain host, the start script installs it. On Docker, set
NEOFORGE_VERSION: "21.1.251". - Coming from a version before 0.3: delete
configureddefaults/datapacksanddatapacks/biscotto-fixes.
Mods removed from the pack are deleted on start. Jars you added yourself stay.
New
- Simple Backups: writes zips to
backups/, a full backup weekly and a partial one daily, 24 kept, 100 GB cap. Restoring is by hand, see the README. - Overpowered Mending: Mending repairs the most damaged item in the player's inventory.
- GraveStone x Backpacked: backpacks recovered from graves go back into their backpack slot.
- Monsters in the Closet: highlights the mobs blocking sleep, for everyone on the server.
- Responsive Shields, Enchantment Sort.
