Beyond the Brass Horizon is a fantasy steampunk adventure modpack built around vast continent-style exploration, colony-building, airships, dragons, machinery, magic, and supernatural progression.

This pack is designed for players who want more than a simple survival world. It is built to feel like the beginning of a new age: scattered survivors, rising settlements, dangerous wilderness, ancient ruins, mythical beasts, growing kingdoms, strange powers, and machines capable of changing the world.

Start as a lone traveler in a massive, untamed land. Explore wide continents, deep forests, towering mountains, hidden ruins, dangerous caves, and distant biomes shaped for long-term adventure. The world is meant to feel large enough for players to spread out, settle their own lands, form groups, build colonies, create trade routes, raise banners, and eventually shape their own place in history.

Build a Civilization

With MineColonies, you can turn a simple camp into a living settlement. Build homes, assign workers, gather resources, expand your town, and slowly grow into a village, city, fortress, trade hub, kingdom, or empire.

Your colony can become whatever you want it to be. A peaceful farming village. A fortified mountain hold. A steampunk industrial city. A hidden forest settlement. A skyport for airships. A kingdom built for diplomacy, trade, war, or survival.

The world is not just about what you can craft. It is about what you can build, protect, and lead.

Master Machinery and Industry

Using Create and its many additions, players can design machines, factories, farms, workshops, transport systems, and mechanical contraptions. Automation becomes part of your civilization’s growth.

Create is not only here for convenience. It is part of the world’s identity. Brass, gears, engines, shafts, belts, cannons, factories, and moving machines help give the pack its steampunk character.

As you progress, your base can become an industrial center capable of producing supplies, supporting colonies, powering trade, and preparing for larger conflicts.

Take to the Skies

With Create Aeronautics, the sky becomes more than scenery. Airships give players a new way to travel, explore, trade, scout, and build.

A player could become a sky captain, an engineer, a trader, a raider, a floating settler, or a wanderer living above the world. Factions may build skyports, airship fleets, floating bases, or long-distance trade routes across the continents.

The horizon is not the edge of the world. It is an invitation.

Face Dragons and Mythical Threats

With Ice and Fire, the world becomes dangerous in a way that feels legendary. Dragons, mythical beasts, and fantasy creatures make exploration risky and rewarding.

Hunting a dragon, surviving a dangerous wilderness, recovering rare materials, or protecting a settlement from powerful creatures can become part of your story. These threats are meant to make the world feel alive, hostile, and worth preparing for.

You are not just surviving mobs at night. You are surviving a fantasy world filled with things far older and stronger than you.

Grow Beyond Human Limits

With Tensura and its addons, players can follow supernatural paths of progression. You may become something far greater than an ordinary survivor through races, powers, skills, magic, and transformation.

Become a hero, monster, demon lord, mystic, ruler, warrior, protector, or something stranger. Tensura adds a layer of personal power and identity to the pack, allowing each player to grow in a different direction.

This creates a world where strength is not only measured by armor and weapons, but by who you become.

A World Built for Stories

This modpack is made with SMP, RP, and lore-style play in mind, but roleplay is not forced.

Players can simply play survival, build bases, explore, automate, and enjoy the mods normally. However, the world is also designed to support player-made stories: kingdoms, alliances, rivalries, wars, trade routes, sky crews, heroes, demon lords, ruins, settlements, and legends.

The goal is to create a world where every action can have a reaction.

A peaceful village may become a trade capital.

A dedicated Beyond the Brass Horizon server is planned soon.

The server will be built around the same fantasy steampunk survival theme, with room for exploration, settlements, groups, factions, trade, soft roleplay, lore, peace, war, and player-made stories.

Roleplay will be optional, not forced. Players will be free to play casually, build, explore, create colonies, form alliances, become powerful, or shape their own story in the world.
