Though death comes swiftly, the curse of eternity lingers — inventory is kept, and the soul endures. With each fall, knowledge is gained, skills awakened, and a new system of experience rewards the perseverant.

Yet beware: this is no idle journey. The world is alive — and it is hungry. Nutrition must be tended, the earth must be cultivated, and the waters fished with care. Survival is earned through toil as much as through battle.
