The things that change is mostly the camera for a more life like feel, and there is now a body in first person. Trees can be chopped down quicker and there are shaders that make the game look beautiful.
this modpack also has allot of settings you can tweak to your liking.
it is also very good for a server with the added in-game voice chat that has proximity features.
