Better with buddies is a modpack aimed to improve the multiplayer and minecraft vanilla experience. This mod pack includes 80+ mods including quality of life such as better happy ghast controls as well as new game mechanics such as bake you bread. Better with buddies also includes countless optimizations mods including: sodium, lithium, ferrite core just to name a few. This modpack also includes the fast stunning but lightweight shader makeup ultrafast to balance performance and visuals for the modpack. For multiplayer I have obviously added the essential mod as well as the fresh animations resource pack to give fluid smooth gameplay. For better world gen I just added tectonic, but there is much more packed into better with buddies that I can't all list here so go and try it out!
Recommended settings and specs (ignore if you have a desktop pc bcs this is more for laptops which better with buddies was tested on):
In game settings:
Fps:60
Render distance:12
Simulation distance:12
Vsync: off (unless you want more fluid frames but may overheat laptops)
Renderscale factor: 50-70% (change this depending on how large your screen is)
Renderscale upscaling method: turn on force linear scaling
Specs:
-good/midrange cpu
-8/16gb of ram(16 recomended)
