Villagers & Trading

• The Cartographer now levels up 1–5 like the other villagers, with new trades at every level
• Explorer maps are permanent Cartographer trades, unlocked by level (ocean, desert, woodland, swamp, trial chambers, jungle, ancient city)
• The Cartographer sells a Mending scroll at level 5
• The trade screen holds 16 trades (was 12)
• Every villager's trades now follow BTW, amounts are rolled anywhere in their range (e.g. 16–24), some trades come in variants, and some come up more or less often than others
• The Cartographer's level 5 random map is a different map each time it comes back
• Dark oak sapling trades accept Sturdy Trees' dark oak sapling too
• Clicking a trade moves its ingredients from your inventory into the input slots
• Arcane scroll trades cost 48 emeralds + 1 vellum (was paper)
• The Farmer buys every overworld log type
• The Farmer buys stakes + string

Piglin Bartering

• Rebalanced: iron nuggets cut to 2–6, no Soul Speed iron boots, ender pearls and fire resistance potions are rare, no splash potions
• New barters: nethercoal, hellfire dust, soul dust, ground netherrack, brimstone
• New rare barters: nether groth spores, blood wood saplings, blaze powder
• Obsidian, crying obsidian, leather, quartz, nether brick, soul sand and spectral arrows come less often or in smaller amounts
• Piglin bartering shows in REI, with each item's chance and amount

New: Stake

• Recipe: string over a wooden moulding makes 2 stakes
• Place a stake on any solid face
• Right-click a stake while holding string to run string to the next stake in the direction you're looking
• Right-click it again to take the string down
• Right-click the string to pluck it: it plays a note and tells you its length

New: Snow

• Loose snow and loose snow slabs: they fall like sand, harden into solid snow in cold biomes and melt in warm ones
• Recipes: 4 snowballs → loose snow slab, 8 → loose snow block (and back), snow block → solid snow, 8 snowballs piston-packed → solid snow
• Snow layers pile up to 8 while it snows and slope at edges
• Snow layers melt near bright light, slow you down, and drop one snowball each
• A shovel digs 2 layers at a time

Stonecutter = Stone Saw

• The stonecutter now works like the saw, but for stone: no screen, needs mechanical power, faces any direction, blade only moves when powered
• Cuts every stone into sidings, mouldings, corners, columns, pedestals and tables
• Has its own REI tab

Loom

• New recipe: mouldings and slats on top, gears and an axle in the middle, planks or sidings at the bottom
• Only takes power from its sides, back and bottom
• 9 hemp → 2 fabric (crafting fabric by hand still works)
• Fabric and rope can only be broken down in the loom: 2 fabric → 9 hemp, 1 rope → 6 hemp

Crafting & Recipes 

• The anvil is now the crafting table (the crafting table recipe is removed)
• All 12 wood types use BTW recipes: stairs, doors, trapdoors, buttons, pressure plates, signs, fences and gates
• Blood wood, crimson and warped logs chop with an axe like the other woods
• Hanging signs: 6 planks or sidings + 2 iron nuggets → 6
• BTW recipes for the axes and the golden hoe
• Stone stairs make 6, rails make 12, a clay block takes 9 clay balls
• Arrows, broadhead arrows, map, pulley, hibachi, composite bow, bow drill, candles, ocular, spectacles, lead and comparator follow BTW
• Hemp fibre works as a stone-tool binding
• The soul forge makes 6 broadheads; the fletching table takes sticks only and makes 3 arrows
• BTW food recipes: dinners, kebabs, sandwiches, chicken soup, scrambled eggs, omelette, bread dough, carrot cake (raw eggs where BTW uses them)
• Gear box, turntable, boats and raft (from sidings too), wool slabs, carpets from wool, soil planter, infused wither skull, lens and screw follow BTW
• Netherite chisel = 4 netherite nuggets; the netherite axe is made in the soul forge
• Wheat → 2 seeds in the crafting grid
• More break-down recipes: bow, bow drill, mashed melon, unfired pottery and bricks, bookshelf → books, pumpkin → carved pumpkin + seeds, and more
• The saw cuts flesh, oyster and spider eye blocks, and wicker slabs
• Many stoked crucible refunds and stoked cauldron rendering recipes added from BTW CE
• Soups are cauldron-only; several leftover vanilla recipes removed

Piston Packing, Kiln & Turntable 

• New piston packing: packed earth, soul sand, clay, bone block, loose blackstone / end stone / calcite / basalt and their loose bricks
• Unfired nether bricks can be fired in the kiln or oven
• Iron, gold and copper ore blocks give one nugget in the kiln
• The turntable gives 2 clay per step

Stone & Chiselling

• Loose slabs and stairs for tuff, blackstone, end stone, calcite and basalt
• Solid end stone, calcite and basalt slabs and stairs
• Calcite and basalt small stones, usable for stone tools and chisels
• Every stone ends in its own depleted block when chiselled down
• All ten cracked stones share one set of drop rules
• Cracked stone textures change at each crack level, in each stone's own colour

Other Changes

• Purple-moon phantoms: 1–3 spawn every minute of the night for the player who summoned the moon

Bug Fixes

• Water-bottle bread dough can now be crafted, and gives the bottle back
• Diamond pickaxes now get drops from cracked stone
• Cracked calcite and basalt now drop items
• Melons and pumpkins no longer burst when placed on slabs, saws and other partial blocks
• Shears now work on dead bushes
