Better Medieval++ combines a carefully curated collection of medieval, exploration, world-generation, immersion, and quality-of-life mods with a strong performance foundation.

117 mods, all handpicked, configured, and tested to work together. No unnecessary bloat. No random mods thrown together. Everything is built around one goal:

A living, lived-in medieval Minecraft world.

Tested at 60+ FPS on a system with 8 GB RAM, a 13th-gen Intel Core i3 processor, and integrated graphics, although performance will vary depending on settings, world generation, and shaders.

Getting Started

1. Download the .mrpack file.
2. Open it using Prism Launcher, MultiMC, or the Modrinth App.
3. Allocate at least 6 GB of RAM.
4. Make sure you are using Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric.
5. Launch the game and give the world a little time to generate.
6. Go medieval.

Recommended

For the smoothest exploration experience, pre-generate your world with Chunky before exploring large areas.

Multiplayer

Better Medieval++ works well on multiplayer servers.

Performance-focused mods such as C2ME and Krypton help improve performance, while Simple Voice Chat provides proximity voice communication.

Configs are shared between the client and server, making it easier to set up a matching multiplayer environment.
