🎮 Tips for New Players

Play at night (in real life). Headphones on. Lights off.
Secure your base early. Some entities know where you live.
Turn off minimap mob icons for maximum tension.
Use Configured mod to adjust spawn rates if things get too intense (or not intense enough).
Shaders make a huge difference. Even the Low profile of Complementary Reimagined transforms the atmosphere.

Q: Can I play this on a server? A: Yes! All mods work in multiplayer. Server and clients need matching mod installations. Horror is better with friends.

Q: Is this too scary? A: Every horror mod is configurable. Use the Configured mod to reduce spawn rates or disable specific entities. You control the intensity.

Q: Will this work with other mods? A: The pack is built on Forge 1.20.1 with broad compatibility. Most Forge 1.20.1 mods can be added. Check for conflicts with entity/world gen mods.

Q: Shaders are tanking my FPS. Help? A: Switch to the Low shader profile, reduce shadow quality to 512, and drop render distance to 10. Or play without shaders — the audio and entity mods carry the horror on their own.
