instead of playing vanilla plus, trying to enjoy the game with mild improvments, try Better Fresh Start (BFS), for those who love minecraft but are missing a huge chunk of interest in it. BFS adds tones of new content, without overflowing, in the hopes of remaking minecraft into a much more fun game, and trying to giving you the excitment of exploring the world for the first time again. The modpack is also unfortunately limited to 1.20.1 and fabric, which heavily restricts me from being able to add a ton of mods that would improve it further, but it's the most consistent and optimized version and modloader. Anyway, beware, this modpack is gonna be hard. disclaimer: theres a lot more than is shown in the gallery ;)
RECCOMENDED SHADERS: complimentary reimagined + euphoria patches. i also reccomend you look at the options and customixe it for the best experience, or use my settings which are saved in the shaderpack folder as "My_Complimentary", so just import it (and up or lower the performance setting to your liking).
RECOMMENDED FOR LOWER END PCS: check the settings and lower them down, reset the settings to whatever shaders youre using, and lower render distance maybe. the pack comes pre loaded with my recommended settings, and they can be demanding, so consider lowering them down if you experience lag. you should allocate 8 GB of ram in the curseforge settings, but 6 GB can also work. i recommand using MakeUp, SuperDuperVanilla, BDS or Miniature shaders (Miniature is the most optimized), because they provide the highest performance and look pretty good (BDS looks the most like vanilla).
In case you decide open and modify the modpack and accidentally updated some mods, this is for you, otherwise ignore. The mods newer versions will cause problems, and if theyre already updated, install one or a few vesions back, and specifically for patchouli needs to be version 1.20.1-84-F... just remember the 84 is the version number. punchy should be the latest version, and for some reason it still asks for an update but it wont work, so just install the newest version manually and dont update. lava level fix should have the second to oldest version, lets do camping should only be one version back from the newest one, and for all the rest just scroll a few pages and try until it works.
anyway, just run the mods back until they dont show up in the crash menu, or disable them if you truely dont care (or back up your worlds and reinstall the modpack).
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO CHECK THE KEY BINDINGS. This modpack has a lot of mods, and you might wanna know what every key does. you dont have to set the keybinds yourself, i already configured the binds myself so nothing overlaps and everything is set optimaly.
Again, dont be shy to comment recommendstions on mods I should add, or bugs you've found.
