This is the newest update of the MC BetaA Redux Lite version. It has added comparable mods to the original & a few more tweaks and add-ons with a different twist than its predecessor 1.7.10.
BetaA Redux Lite 2.0 is preset and configured for both standard survival Minecraft gaming and Skyblock Minecraft gaming.
ALWAYS Be sure to check World Options when creating a new world to ensure that the correct world type is selected. We recommend Biomes O' Plenty for standard play and Void World for Skyblock. Also be sure to use a resource pack compatible with Biomes O'Plenty.
This pack is designed so that at any level of progression within the game, there is equipment which can be made/designed to keep tech progression going strong.
Low Level: Start small with resource hunting and storage facilitation - EZ Storage and Extended Tool/Wpns/Armors
Mid Level: After obtaining some resources, travel to new biomes, integrate with tech, begin simplifying processes w/machinery - Forestry, Thermal Expansion, & EnderIO
High Level: Lots of gathered resources, tech integration maximized, strong weapons, limited flight, and Fusion/Fission power reactors - Railcraft & Extreme Reactors
End Level: Beat the End Dragon and continue your life through journeys to other dimensions and worlds - Aroma, Caverns, The Beneath
Don't be foolish though, tough enemies and an array of resource hunting hurdles will provide some tough challenges for the player attempting to survive this remade pack of the 1st DSoU BetaA Redux modpack.
Skyblock play is currently configured for the original 2.1 version of Skyblock but can be changed through the configuration file.
Notes:
-Server.Properties mod is installed in this pack. This allows players to make an easier Open to Lan server with specific settings. This also means that with EACH individual world you create that there is a server.properties file which needs to be configured.
Easy Steps:
1) Create your world
2) save and exit to Minecraft Main Menu - there is NO NEED to exit Minecraft entirely
3) through your file manager - goto your save game directory and configure the server.properties file with a text editor
4) save changes and close editor
5) return to Minecraft Main Menu and load your world
6) Open to LAN with your configured settings
It's that easy... BUT, if you are running this pack on a dedicated server, be sure to disable the server.properties mod as it is not needed and potentially can (and usually will) cause issues with the dedicated server setup.
