Batteries not included is a modpack based around the idea of integration. In most modpacks, players strive to achieve the 'end game' of one mod or another. This means the player will only play through one or two mods and likely only scratch the surface of what each mod has to offer.
It is a well known fact in the modding community that 9/10 times, Tech mods will far out perform magic mods. This annoys us.
We've decided to change so many recipes that even NEI can't keep up. Our new progression path pushes the player to delve into the following mods:

- Thaumcraft
- Immersive Engineering
- Steve's Carts
- Botania
- Railcraft
- EnderIO
- Deep Resonance
- RFTools
- Buildcraft
- Forestry
- Pneumaticraft
- Witchery
Although this may sound like a pain in the ass, we believe that it makes a world last longer and makes the game more entertaining. We feel that it causes the player to come up with and design innovative solutions to simple problems that mods like MFR (Included) would usually solve.
