Basic Wynncraft [Fabric]

Modpack for Wynncraft using Fabric for version 1.18.2, focused on optimization.

I honestly only released this modpack because I didn't see any for 1.18.2 so I decided to do it myself, at least until the others update.

The main reason to use this modpack is if you want to use 1.18.2 specifically or if your computer has trouble running 1.12 (for example, I get 4 times the fps [30fps to 120fps]).

Otherwise, it's much better to use something like 'Wynncraft Remastered' or 'Coneter's Custom Wynncraft'.

 

I recommend manually adding 'Artemis'. This is the *experimental* version of Wynntils for 1.18.2. Go to their discord server for the latest info,

(Not all the features that were in 1.12 have moved to Artemis yet.)

 

Mods worth paying attention to:

• ToolTipFix - Fixes tooltips that are too long to be displayed 
• Zoomify - A zoom mod
• LambDynamicLights - A dynamic lights mod
• Nimble - Perspective animation & Auto third person
• Farsight - See far chunks on clientside, even if the server has low view distance

 

OptiFine parity

supports almost all OptiFine features, including shaders, connected textures and zoom.

Mod Menu - Adds a mod menu to view the list of mods you have installed. 

Pling - Plays a sound when Minecraft is finished loading.

Controlling - Adds a search bar to the Key-Bindings menu 

Puzzle - Adds resourcepack features and a GUI to more conveniently configure OptiFine alternatives.

Animatica - A mod for loading OptiFine animations via the MCPatcher animated texture format

CIT Resewn - Re-implements MCPatcher's CIT (custom item textures from optifine resource packs)

Colormatic - Now you can customize Minecraft's hardcoded colors with a resource pack.

Custom Entity Models (CEM) - Allows for loading custom models into the game as defined by .jem and .jpm files...

Sound Physics Remastered - A Minecraft mod that provides realistic sound attenuation, reverberation, and absorption through blocks.

Toast Manager - Gives you more control over the toasts that popup in the corner. On Fabric!

Optimization:

Sodium - A Minecraft mod designed to improve frame rates and reduce micro-stutter 

Lithium (Fabric) - An optimization mod for Minecraft which improves server performance significantly 

Starlight (Fabric) - Re-write of the light engine to be blazing fast 

FPS Reducer - Reduce GPU and CPU usage automatically when no user operation exists. 

Better Fps - Render Distance[Fabric] - Changed to a 3d circular radius. Provides about 10-35% less chunk sections to be rendered and thus gives a neat fps boost.

Dynamic View[Fabric] - Dynamically changes chunk view(and simulation) distance based on load 

Entity Culling Fabric - Using async path-tracing to hide Tiles/Entities that are not visible 

Not Enough Crashes (Fabric) - When crashing, you can go back to the title screen and keep playing, without needing to restart

MemoryLeakFix - Fixes multiple memory leaks in minecraft

ForgetMeChunk - Fixes the chunk border lag spikes, basically required if you want smooth gameplay!

LazyDFU - Makes startup much faster by not loading DFU until needed, also saves on memory 

Krypton - Supposed to optimize network connections, doesn't work for me

Smooth Boot (Fabric) - Tweak Java thread settings and prevent Minecraft from lagging your computer when loading up. 

Cull Leaves - Adds culling to leaf blocks, providing a huge performance boost over vanilla.

Enhanced Block Entities - Makes chests, signs, beds, etc. render faster

FerriteCore (Fabric) - Memory usage optimizations

FastOpenLinksAndFolders - Fast Open Links And Folders

Fastload - Modifies the 441 Loading Engine to decrease world loading times.

No Telemetry - Disable the telemetry introduced in 21w38a (1.18)
