Barely Vanilla PVE is a planned expansive rework of some of the core elements of Vanilla minecraft, with future updates that will rework the entire crafting system to make the world and crafting feel much more balanced, and more dynamic/challenging.
The Emphasis is Player versus the environment (pve) by including things like body fat, a more complex/punishing hunger system requiring prepared meals, a thirst and temperature system. Though tackling your personal environment will be your fist tricky task to settle it will not be your only one.
We plan on using Hand made dungeons from rec curing complex and hand do the loot tables with disabled crating items. Fighting, traveling and looting will be a worth while feat if you can gather the food, and water to manage to do so. Homesteading will be a more difficult life style to maintain. Magic, and tech will be viable to the people who can manage the more encumbering tasks of the changed basic mining and gathering customs.
