- JEI a mod that shows recipes to help crafting
- Mekanism a mod that adds electricity, weapons, ore processing and armore
- CC: Tweaked a mod that is an expanchen on computer craft(no longer updated) and fathers computer that you can code using lua
- Refined Storage a store mod that adds a network based storage system
- Immersive Engineering a mod that also ads electricity and ore prosesing but is more multi block based

Tips for slow computers
- Change the view distens
- set max frame rate to unlimited
- turn the graphics to fast
- change clouds to ether off or fast
