B&B The First Act

B&B The First Act is a modpack that relies heavily on quests. It should be fairly beginner friendly, even to those who have never used mods before.

In the very beginning of the modpack, you choose an Origins or race that you would like to play as. It will effect your game in many ways, so be sure to choose wisely. Otherwise, it's a fairy simple modpack with only a few magic and tech mods, mainly Astral Sorcery and Create respectively. There is a big emphasis on exploration with the Biomes O Plenty mod and Small Ships mod. There is also some good loot-filled dungeons with Dungeons+, Dungeon Crawl, and Dimensional Dungeons. With Akisephila's Bosses there is some end game content, even after the Ender Dragon has been defeated for the first time. If fighting or exploration isn't your speed, there's also a fair bit of cooking and fishing with Pam's Harvestcraft 2 and Aquaculture in there as well. A few other quality-of-life mods are added as well, so be sure to take a peek at the quest book as there should be a quest for almost every single mod in the game. There should be something for everyone. So be sure to grab a friend or two, and get playing!

I would recommend you run this pack with at least 6GB of RAM allocated to it, but it could work with a bit less.

You should also install Optifine (not included) and use the Resourcepacks I've included in the modpack as well if you wish. Be sure to enable/disable through the main menu. They really add to the experience! Here are examples of the resourcepacks included below, but be sure to check out their pages for more examples. Also Astral Sorcery will make it hard for you to use shaders if you choose to do so as it has a custom skybox. There are ways to work around it but it's different for each shaderpack. Good luck!
