This modpack attempts to appeal both to fans of vanilla and of heavily modified Minecraft all while staying aesthetically pleasing and running smoothly, featuring mods that keep the focus of vanilla while adding variety to the experience.

The Biome Bundle mod keeps the world interesting while sticking to the original feel of the game.

With mods like Hardcore Darkness and Dimensional Doors, fear will always be a factor, especially at night. Be sure to obtain a light source before dark.

Pam's HarvestCraft and Decocraft add more options for filling up your hunger bar and adding decor to your homes/neighborhoods.

NOTES:

I recommend installing the Optifine mod and enabling the Dynamic Lighting option. This will cause light emitting objects to glow from your hands, producing light around you. This is very useful and almost a necessity thanks to the Hardcore Darkness mod.

This mod features the Squake mod, which adds Source engine-like movement and enables Bunny-hopping! It is enabled by default but can be disabled via keybind.
