Gates of Avarice is a fast-paced Minecraft dungeon roguelite built around risk, loot, and knowing when to bail.
Forge gateway crystals, enter unstable dungeons, fight through escalating waves, and gather as much loot as you can before greed gets you killed. Every run pushes you to make the same choice: keep going for better rewards, or bail out and secure what you’ve earned.
Death in the dungeon means losing your run rewards, so survival matters.

Forge Your Gateway: Use the Gateway Workbench to forge Tier 1-5 gateway crystals and open dungeon runs.
Choose Your Loadout: Enter with themed dungeon gear, weapons, supplies, and role-based equipment.
Survive the Waves: Fight increasingly difficult enemies, elites, and themed mobs as the dungeon scales upward.
Upgrade Between Waves: Spend dungeon coins to improve weapons, armor, runes, and utility items.
Bail or Greed: Use the exit portal when you’re ready to extract. Push too far and you may lose everything.

Wave Modifiers: Choose cards between waves that increase difficulty, enemy pressure, and rewards.
Loot Scaling: Higher waves unlock stronger loot tiers, better drops, and more valuable rewards.
Loot Boxes: Extracted rewards are packed into loot boxes, letting you claim your bounty after a successful run.
Future Runs: Earn cards and progression tools that let you shape future dungeons around your playstyle.

Dungeon Coins: Earn coins during runs and spend them on upgrades before the next wave.
The Gatekeeper: Buy resources, reroll shop stock, sell excess loot, and access run upgrades.
Runic Gear: Enhance dungeon weapons and armor with rune stats, effects, and scaling upgrade choices.
Material Progression: Push beyond vanilla gear with custom materials, paxels, magnets, weapons, and high-tier loot.

Meta Progression: Level up between runs, unlock stronger options, and re-enter the dungeon better prepared.
Co-op Scaling: Bring friends, but expect the dungeon to scale with your party.
Endless Challenge: Keep pushing waves, stacking modifiers, improving gear, and testing how far your greed can take you.
