Automation Nation Version 1.4.1: A fix, posthaste! Here is a list of the changes made to the pack. They shouldn't really break anything.

-Added Garden Cloche recipes for growing Warped Fungus and Crimson Fungus. They grow at a rate of one per 800 ticks, so Create-powered rotary farms aren't quite out of the question.

-Added Biome Growth Control configs for the Warped Fungus and Crimson Fungus. You can use bonemeal to generate the fungi in any biome/dimension, but you can only turn them into their big chonky tree forms in specific biomes. For Warped Fungus, this means the Warped Forest and the Soul Sand Valley biomes, For Crimson Fungus, this means the Crimson Forest and Basalt Deltas biomes. To anyone who wanted to grow these "trees" in the overworld, sorry! You're gonna have to deconstruct them and rebuild them from scratch if you want some exotic plants in your front yard!

-Removed a crafting recipe that was being a big stinky poo poo head. In particular, it was a recipe that used Immersive Engineering's bottling machine to bottle Essence into XP bottles. The "big stinky poo poo head-ness" comes from the fact that it caused servers to not feel so good, so it has been removed. Luckily, there are still two other ways to turn Essence into XP bottles, so don't worry about it.

-Updated mods to their latest versions. None of them had any humungo changes lately, so you probably won't notice the difference.

-New Server Pack what what???? This one's actually been tested this time (with BisectHosting), meaning it should work properly now. It should be up within the next day or so.

Oh, and here's the patch notes from the 1.4.0 version.

============================================

1.4.0 is here. Prepare. Your. Butts.

Let's get the big one out of the way first. WBAMO!!

Enter the Digital Domain with Refined Storage!

After looking at the balance of my pack, I realized that there's no late-game storage solution for all the crap you automate. Early-game has chests/crates, Mid-game has tanks/silos, and Late-game has...nothing new. So, I've taken the liberty of adding Refined Storage to the list of wonderful mods present in this pack. If you've played with Applied Energistics 2 before, Refined Storage is similar, but with less bulls**** grinding (both figuratively, and literally.) If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then Refined Storage is an advanced, late-game storage system which uses flash-drive-like storage disks to cram hundreds of items into a teeny tiny space. I know I've expressed some...displeasures...regarding mods like this, but I think the unique crafting recipes and "lore" I've created to explain these things more than makes up for the absurdity of it. Every single crafting recipe has been altered to provide a more "realistic" interpretation as to how these things work, including some monstrously large 7X7 mechanical crafting recipes! Harness the power of computing with Refined Storage today!

But that's not all, engineers! Numerous other changes abound, including:

Mapping the World with Xaero's Worldmap!

A few people have expressed a desire for some sort of worldmap, and they brought up some very good reasons, such as the usefulness when it comes to planning and building railroads. Well, I'm happy to announce that Xaero's Worldmap has made its way into Automation Nation! Now, you can view a large, grand map of all chunks you've explored, and see how far you've come!

Be the coolest kid at the Lunch Table with Buddycards!

These collectable cards can be found all over the world, or crafted via specific processes. Collect all of the cards in a specific set, and you can earn a medal! Medals give you permanent stat effects, like jump boost, speed, or haste. Additionally, craft tools and weapons which grow in strength as your card collection grows! Of course, all of this is completely optional and not required to progress, but it's a neat little thing to try and automate! Collect 'em all with Buddycards!

Quest-ioning Everything with more Quest Clusters and improved Quests!

Yes, I've sort of reworked the quests again. I hope it doesn't cause too much trouble! Here's a little rundown of the changes I've made:

  • Added some fancy colors to the Onboarding Quests
  • Re-organized and re-wrote some of the Create Quests to better match the new version of Create (1.3.1)
  • Added some handy pictures to some Create Quests to assist in building certain automation setups
  • Added a bunch more Immersive Engineering Quest Clusters to better prepare you for the later "age" (Industrial Foregoing)
  • Added quests related to Refined Storage, they will unlock once you've made Plastic
  • Added quests related to Buddycards, which includes a tutorial to show you the tools/items in the mod, as well as some optional collect-a-thon style quests
  • Added quests involving capturing mobs in Industrial Foregoing's Mob Imprisonment Tools. They will unlock once you've unlocked the corresponding quest in the Industrial Foregoing questline
  • Re-balanced a couple of the Currency and Exchange quests, they're still subject to change
  • Added some Currency and Exchange quests to reflect the new items available for purchase in the Market

And some more changes, including:

  • Updating every mod to their latest version (yes, this includes Create, please by all means go nuts with the new features!)
  • Re-balancing some configs related to the Create Crafts and Additions Generator and Alternator. One furnace engine can run 16 Alternators at max RPM, producing somewhere around 2,800 Flux/tick.
  • Added some misc. new recipes, including some for obtaining essence by squashing Enchanted Books (IDK if I added this feature in the last update or this one, I should really get a Trello or something :P)
  • Fixed some bugs, I guess.
  • Removed Herobrine
