I played the Pixelmon modpack and was underwhelmed by the lack of tech and automation mods.
The goal of this pack is to be; lightweight (will run with 4Gb of ram or less allocated), have Pixelmon as the main focus, and have some tech/automation mods that complement and enhance the Pixelmon mod.
Why would you want to play this pack over other similar Pixelmon themed modpacks?
- The modpack is relatively lightweight for the amount of content and should run on most systems.
- You can fully automate the creation of the various balls in game using Industrial Foregoing.
- Prevent wild pokemon from attacking you by using the PSI mod to create armor that pushes attacking pokemon away.
- Having to search through tons of chests for one specific item from Pixelmon can take forever, but with Refined Storage you can have all your items accessible and easily searchable in one inventory.
- Mekanisim and EnderIO give you ways to process your ores and power your machines.
- Using hammers and lumber axes from Tinkers Construct you can acquire resources faster and get back to building/crafting sooner.
Currently, the modpack will run with the default Twitch/Curse RAM allocation.
