Automate or Die

Automate or Die is a modpack that originally started for my personal use. However, after hours of using CraftTweaker, editing configs, and curating, I decided to release it to the public. There was previously a server, but it is no longer maintained. Sorry!

This modpack focuses on balance, automation, and multi-block structures, alongside complicated "vanilla-style" machines and rewards for exploration. Summon and fight various bosses for unique loot, mine massive veins of ores using a system of minecarts, ship resources across oceans with automatic boats, create new and unique alloys for use with Tinker's Construct, and survive against raids that bring unique mobs and challenges to your doorstep.

Players are both buffed and nerfed. New Tinker's Construct materials and customized armors, along with better ways to move around the world increase the power cap for them. However, mobs get stronger the longer you play the server, and health regeneration from food is disabled. Of course, new methods of healing are introduced. Through the use of Tinker's traits and balancing, multiple viable armor options, and varying other items to aid in combat, you can build your play style.

Disabling animated blocks in Optifine is highly recommended. Playing with some of the settings may be needed to get the pack to run lag-free. It's hefty!

A known issue is that some of the custom TiC materials don't have icons in the book. Don't worry though, they work.
