Welcome to Aura: Halloween Event!

Aura: Halloween Event is a curated action-horror modpack designed specifically for short-term events and multiplayer server play. Moving away from standard vanilla survival, this pack drops players into a hostile world where constant environmental threats force fast progression, tactical combat, and occult base defense.

👁️ Core Features & Gameplay Mechanics

1. Persistent Atmospheric & Entity Horror

• Relentless Stalkers & Mutants: The world is inhabited by hostile entities and mutated creatures (powered by From The Fog, Born in Chaos, and The Graveyard) that actively hunt players and stalk dark forests.
• Gothic World Generation: Explore decaying crypts, mausoleums, and haunting structures filled with rare loot and dark ritual ingredients.

2. Tactical Firearm Combat

• Modern Weapons & Equipment: Powered by Timeless and Classics Zero (TaCZ), players can craft and customize high-caliber firearms, scopes, and ammo to defend compounds against nighttime raids and aggressive boss entities.

3. Occult Magic & Player Buffs

• Chalk Rituals & Spirit Summoning: Utilize Occultism to draw chalk pentagrams, light ritual candles, and summon spirit familiars.
• Dimensional Utilities & Power Scaling: Complete rituals to unlock passive combat buffs, spirit storage, and resource automation to prepare for server-wide threats.

4. Optimized Multiplayer & Quality of Life

• Cross-Player Sync: Built-in support for voice chat, waystone navigation, team backpacks, and optimized chunk rendering to ensure smooth server performance during high-intensity fights.

💾 Installation Instructions:

Client (Player) Installs:

1. For fastest and best results use the CurseForge App to install.

• If not using the app, you need to be running a Forge loader with Java 17 on your computer and Minecraft version 1.20.1 - You will also need to manually look up and download all of the mods manually from the manifest, the jar files are not held in the download. Just use the CF app (there are about 150 mods in this pack).

Note to players: There were quite a few keybind conflicts that I attempted to correct and included the appropriate file. You may want to check them and remap if you have trouble with anything related to toggles, keypresses, etc.

Dedicated Server Installs:

1. Download the pack marked "Server" in the name from the files list.

2. Copy all folders to your servers main folder.

3. Start the server.

• Modpacks such as this alter the world quite a bit, it's recommended to use on a new world.
• Requires Java 17 server running a 1.20.1 Forge supported Minecraft server.
• I personally ran this using an Arclight Forge server so that I could also run other plugins such as DiscordSRV, EssentialsX, LuckPerms, and Vault.

Note to server admins: This is a very unforgiving experience. Consider allowing KeepItems and a plugin that allows for back teleportation on death and home teleportation. (Especially necessary for shot-term events)
