A somewhat lightweight modpack designed for the creation of animal related structures, such as zoos or aquariums. This was created for a group of friends, so we could make a zoo together on a server; but feel free to use it for your own server or personal use. I recommend at least 3GB of RAM, as it can get a little choppy with 2GB if there are several animals around.

This modpack contains several hundred different varieties of animals and fish, possibly more than is sensible. But hey, it allows for more variety so we'll let it pass. There is also Biomes O' Plenty and Pam's HarvestCraft 2, allowing for slightly more in-depth gameplay should you not focus on the animal side of the pack. The dramatically increased biomes list from Biomes O' Plenty allows for much more interesting terrain and nature, featuring many more types of wood/stone etc; and HarvestCraft enables you to focus more on the variety of the food available to the player. Wizard's Animals contains most of the animals, at over 200; with Alex's Mobs coming in close second. Yes, there are some mob overlaps. Am I that fussed? No. I use the excuse "more variety" to stop myself from crying. Only joking of course, what I actually say is "the monkey's faces are hilarious".

The pack consists almost entirely of assorted animal/fish etc mods. There are no tech mods, weapon mods, magic mods, or anything that would have an effect on the gameplay side. It just literally contains animals and a few Quality Of Life features. This is because it was created for a specific survival purpose: create a zoo. Therefore, it essentially just enhances the mobs that spawn in the dimensions, for example adding mobs such as Bears or Sharks. There are some really common animals (for whatever reason during testing elephants would spawn at a crazy rate), but there are also some extremely rare and annoying to find ones, such as Poison Dart frogs or specific butterfly types. It does have a minimap, because I often find that it helps enormously with the gameplay. It does also add some more decoration blocks from the likes of MrCrayfish and Macaw, allowing for players to create better houses and/or zoo buildings. Chisel and Bits also allows for players to sculpt their own furniture/decorations/structures/whatever to increase the uniqueness of their experience.

But perhaps most importantly; There's tea and penguins.
