Astral Expansion is a Modpack which focuses on providing a progession from one Technology Mod to another with the help of a Questbook.
Many known recipes have been altered and will be altered in the future to give the player a little bit of a challange and to encurage the use of different mods, which are not commonly found or underused in favor of more powerful mods in many modpacks.
Another challange for the player is managing the pollution their factories produce thankt to Pollution of the Realms.
Serene Season together with Agricraft and Pam's HarvestCraft changes the way the player goes about farming with plants only being able to grow either during the right seasons or in a greenhouse.
There are also some magic mods to complement the rest of the mods with varying degrees of cross-over into Technology Mods with the aid of some addons.
There will be some mayor "breakthroughs" the player has to achieve in the future to advance their repertoire of available machines such as:
- Forging your own Tools and Armor with Tinkers Construct.
- Working with Trains for logistic and travel in the early to mid-game before being able to replace them with conduits and pipes.
- Mastering Nuclearcraft before being able to build stable reactors with Extreme Reactors.
- Interplanetary Travel with Galacticraft which gives access to more powerfull technology.
Animania, Ferdinand's Flower, Project: Vibrant Journeys, Oh The Biomes You'll Go and some more change how the world looks, feels and sounds.
