Features
More Difficult Survival
Temperature, thirst and seasons have come to minecraft and like in real life will be the bane of your existence.
Additionally minecraft isn't as simple as just punching a tree and getting wood anymore, instead you'll have to craft
some basic flint tools to get by. Torches have also been reworked and are less permanent than before. This is where realism
getting in your way stops and where fantasy picks up the slack; dragons now roam the lands while sea serpents infest the ocean
and both have a taste for underprepared players.

Magic
Asterisk gives the player the option to become a mage and use magic to complete typical survival tasks like
farming, chopping trees or vaporizing the terrain. Enchanting has been reworked and offers much more powerful enchantments.
Technology
Asterisk delves much deeper into technology than it does magic. The mod pack revolves mainly around using the Create Mod
and its addons to automate the steps that go into creating a massive and effective army. Additionally you can create massive
stationary artillery platforms or put smaller cannons on carriages and take them into battle.
Army Management
In this modpack you gain the ability to become a the owner of villages (fiefs) through nonviolent means (lame). You can however still use
this income to create a large army and live out your dreams of being a medieval fantasy-steampunk warlord. In order to compensate for the
player being able to raise a great army, the pillagers have decided to stop playing around and should you kill enough captains you will experience
a seemingly never ending tsunami of illagers at your village's doorsteps.
