Ascending Fishers-0.6.1.zip
What's new
Ascending Fishers Modpack 0.6.1
Multiplayer Start Hotfix
Modpack 0.6.1 includes Ascending Fishers Core 0.5.6 and focuses on fixing the new multiplayer starting-platform system introduced in 0.6.0.
Existing World Safety
Fixed the new lobby system affecting established worlds.
Existing worlds now:
- Do not automatically generate the new lobby.
- Do not have their world spawn rewritten.
- Do not receive automatic
/home islandlocations. - Remain unchanged unless the owner deliberately uses
/startangler.
Starter Island Fixes
Fixed starter platforms appearing underwater or at incorrect Y-levels.
Starter platforms now use the actual generated ocean surface at their destination instead of relying on Minecraft's sea-level value.
This fixes cases where /startangler 1, /startangler 12, and other platform counts could place islands far below the visible ocean.
Manual Island Assignment
Added:
/startangler join
Players can use this as a fallback if automatic assignment does not place them correctly.
Automatic Island Home
On new worlds, assigned players now automatically receive:
/home island
so they have an easy way to return to their starter platform.
This feature only applies to newly initialized Ascending Fishers worlds.
Multiplayer Start System
The full system continues to support:
/startangler 1for one shared island- Multiple separate starter islands
- Up to 64 platforms
- Automatic player assignment
- Later players receiving unused islands first
- Persistent island assignments
- High-altitude lobby spawn
- Manual
/startangler joinfallback
This update is strongly recommended for anyone using the new 0.6.0 multiplayer start system.
