Ascending Fishers Modpack 0.5.9

Enchanting, Shaders & Quality of Life

Modpack 0.5.9 focuses on improving enchanting guidance, travel, automation, and general quality of life.

This release continues to use Ascending Fishers Core 0.5.4.

Apothic Enchanting Guide

Added a new optional Apothic Enchanting Guide under Mod Guides.

The 17-quest guide now properly explains:

• Basic enchanting setup
• Eterna
• Quanta
• Arcana
• Quantic Stability
• Enchanting Clues
• Shelf progression
• Infusion Enchanting
• Renewable Lapis and XP options
• Enchanting Tomes
• Enchantment Library
• Depositing enchantments
• Extracting specific enchantments
• Enchanting Ascending Fishers gear
• Getting useful enchantments before reaching a max-tier setup

All quest titles, descriptions, and dependency links have been rebuilt and tested in-game.

Shader Support

Added proper shader support for NeoForge 1.21.1 using:

• Embeddium
• Iris Shaders
• Monocle

Shader support was tested successfully with multiple shader packs including:

• MakeUp - Ultra Fast
• Complementary Reimagined
• BSL Shaders

Shaders remain completely optional.

Homes & Teleporting

Added FTB Essentials.

Players can now create up to 5 named homes.

Useful commands include:

/sethome <name>

/home <name>

/listhomes

/delhome <name>

Default settings:

• 5 maximum homes
• 10-second cooldown
• No teleport warmup

Chunk Loaders

Added dedicated Chunk Loader blocks.

Players can now keep important areas of their island, storage, machines, and automation loaded while they are away.

Dedicated Elytra Slot

Added a dedicated Curios Elytra Slot.

Players can now use an Elytra while still wearing their normal chest armor.

Quality of Life & Travel Guide

Added a new optional 5-quest Mod Guide covering:

• Named homes
• Home commands
• Chunk Loaders
• Dedicated Elytra slot
• Optional shader support

Other Improvements

• Updated pack configs for the new QoL features.
• Cleaned and rebuilt the new quest chapters.
• Improved guidance for systems that were previously available but poorly explained.
• Continued compatibility with Ascending Fishers Core 0.5.4.

This update is focused on making Ascending Fishers easier to understand and more comfortable to play without changing the core progression.
