Arduous Adventure aims to create a fun, immersive, and challenging fantasy world with mythical creatures, magic, and factions. You can hunt and tame Dragons, become a wizard, or build up a kingdom with NPCs. There are many possibilities, so it is up to you to choose your own path.
Live through all four seasons and plant seasonal crops with over 900 new food items from “Pam’s Harvestcraft.”
With “Ancient Warfare 2” you can train NPC's to be farmers, traders, or miners. Build up an army and fight battles against enemy factions or conquer the many generated castles and structures.
With “Thaumcraft” you can follow the steps to learn about the magic surrounding you and how to use it, or follow the dark side into “Blood Magic.”
Build your own tools and armor with “Tinkers Construct" and "Constructs Armory," then move into the industrial age with “Immersive Engineering” to create steel and big electric machines.
Sounds lovely so far? Think again!
Crops grow slower than you’re used to and you need to eat more to fill up.
You’ll also have to keep warm in cold biomes with a campfire or heating coil, and stay cool in hot biomes with a dip in a pool or cooling coil.
You’ll also have to manage your thirst with a water bottle or canteen, or just drink straight from a water source.
Monsters are also more dangerous than you remember. You think you can just hide inside a basic dirt house? Not anymore. Zombies will try breaking through weak blocks, skeletons have improved their range, and they can both track you down through noises and lights.
Oh, you also begin your journey with half health!

I also recommend downloading and adding Optifine to the modpack for better performance and to use the Dynamic Lights feature.
