The Year is 1050.

For centuries, the world prospered beneath the watch of kings, emperors, guilds, and ancient orders. Great cities flourished, trade crossed every sea, and magic shaped civilizations beyond imagination.

Then, in the winter of 1048, the sky split open.

From the Abyss descended a being of unimaginable power—an entity that came to be known only as the Demon Lord.

No kingdom could withstand it.

Entire capitals vanished overnight. Dragons fell from the heavens. Legendary heroes, archmages, saints, and monarchs united for one final stand... and failed. The greatest empires in history were reduced to smoking ruins as monsters poured into the world, spreading corruption across forests, mountains, oceans, and the deepest dungeons.

Civilization collapsed.

Yet life endured.

Far from the fallen capitals, isolated villages survived. Hidden monasteries guarded ancient knowledge. Mountain fortresses held their gates. Merchant caravans carved dangerous roads through monster-infested lands, while adventurers, mercenaries, and explorers began reclaiming what little remained.

Now, two years later, humanity—and every other race—stands at a crossroads.

No empire rules the continent.

No king commands the world.

The Demon Lord still lives.

Some seek to unite the realm and defeat the darkness once and for all. Others chase wealth, power, forbidden magic, or political influence. Many simply wish to survive another day.

The future has yet to be written.

Only those bold enough to seize it will decide what this new age becomes.
