Better Vanilla Building started as a personal collection of mods for me and my friends to create the smooth, gorgeous structures we've always envisioned in vanilla Minecraft- and now it's ready for you!

This pack is built around the idea that you should be able to create stunning architecture without ever feeling like you've left the original game. It includes essential building quality-of-life tools for easier block placement, enhanced stair/slab/wall variety, and better measuring, all while staying performance-friendly.

We've mixed in a carefully curated selection of shaders and audio enhancement mods to make your finished builds truly shine, elevating the vanilla aesthetic to the next level.

The goal wasn't to add new tiers of armor or strange new dimensions. It’s to make the process of placing one block after another the best it can possibly be. It has all the basics for a serious builder, plus a few lesser-known gems that will make you wonder how you ever built without them!
