Arancino's Night Journey [EARLY BETA] — If *Arancino's Gentle Journey 2* represented the day—calm and carefree—then this is the night; whether it proves harsh or serene depends on the moment.
*Arancino's Night Journey* is the "dark sibling" chapter, an immersive, spooky Action-RPG adventure built on NeoForge 1.21.1. Forget pure relaxation: here, the darkness runs deep, dangers creep across ceilings, and survival demands careful planning for every move.
Yet, fear not: after facing the horrors of the night, your safe haven and machinery await, offering a well-deserved moment of relaxation and immersion. 🌙 What Awaits You (Pack Design): ⚙️ Engineering & Aviation: Build airships and self-propelled flying fortresses using *Create* and *Create Aeronautics* to explore the world from above.
🩸 Dark & Horror Atmosphere: Torches burn out, while threats of mods like *Born in Chaos* and *Mowzie's Mobs* hunt you in the dark, realistically scaling walls and ceilings.
🔮 Magic & Combat: An Action-RPG system powered by *Better Combat*, *Simply Swords*, and the magical tomes of Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks (and so much more to study and enjoy)
🌡️ Immersive Survival: Manage thirst and temperature. Exploring the frozen seas of Aquamirae or the dimensions of Undergarden and Deeper and Darker will require serious preparation. 🚨 WARNING: PRIMORDIAL STATUS 🚨 This modpack is currently in early development (an ultra-early beta, and also laggy). What does this mean? All mods (over 300!) are included and optimized for performance, (Not yet—I need to figure out how to fix the lag, but I hope I can, because, well... otherwise it's unplayable) KubeJS integrations and material tier gating are not yet in place (recipes currently follow vanilla logic). Final LootJS loot configurations and boss balancing are still missing. Download it now to test stability, enjoy the visual atmosphere, and help me hunt down bugs! Leave a comment with any feedback.
The modpack is in a very early stage—there are no scripts, configurations, menus, or anything else yet; it is literally just a folder full of mods.
I prefer to release things only when they are ready for actual use, so for now, I’m just sharing this massive pile of files in case you’re interested in running compatibility tests or something similar, given that I don't have much free time.
Furthermore, the modpack isn't really ready to be properly scripted or structured yet, as I’m still missing several mods needed to build it the right way; I have a fully fleshed-out vision for it, but without the essential mods, the project is nothing more than a lifeless heap of mods.
I’d also appreciate any tips on optimization, mods to add or remove, and the like, to help refine this modpack—one that’s dark but not horror-themed, offers relaxing moments, is packed with machinery, and features a clean, smooth progression.
