Welcome to the field. Apostle of Spore is a competitive, objective-driven multiplayer modpack. Designed for group play and dedicated servers, this pack pits a highly-trained squad of mercenaries against a single, rapidly adapting, and overwhelmingly powerful Spore Kommandant.

Will you deploy with your squad to purge the infestation, or will you embrace the hive and consume the operatives?

🪖 Choose Your Allegiance

When you first spawn, choose your side and your origin. Your choice determines your questline, your gear, and your victory conditions.

The Mercenaries 💉

You are a team of tactical operatives deployed to cleanse the area.

Eradicate the Spore: Fight off the newly birthed Kommandant and its endless swarm.
Target the Cores: You must permanently kill the Spore Kommandant by destroying every single Core Mound on the map. Without Core Mounds, the Kommandant cannot respawn, and the infestation is broken for good.

The Spore Kommandant ☣️

You are the hive. While you may be the only player on your team, you are an apex predator commanding an ever-growing army.

Consume and Conquer: You must achieve total Domination by overwhelming the mercenary forces, successfully executing a Spawnkill strategy to break their foothold, or forcing the Mercenary team to forfeit.
Ultimate Power: Obtaining an Antimatter Pellet also secures your victory, as it unlocks the Kommandant's final, nigh-unkillable form.

⚙️ Getting Started & Progression

Progression in Apostle of Spore is driven by your faction's dedicated questline. To begin your deployment:

Register: Open the Quest Board and submit your token to officially register your faction.
Follow Orders: Follow your team’s exclusive questline to unlock crucial gear, intel, and secondary objectives necessary for survival. Do not skip the Quest Board onboarding!

⚖️ Rules of Engagement & Balance

This modpack is meticulously balanced around brutal asymmetrical warfare. Do not mistake the Spore's solitary player count for a disadvantage; a single Kommandant naturally outpaces standard mercenary progression, boasts superior individual strength, and has the ability to spawn and control endless waves of infected minions.

To ensure the mercenaries actually stand a chance against the hive, the following deployment rules must be strictly enforced:

The game must be played with a strict ratio of 1 Kommandant per 5 Mercenaries. It takes a full squad to match the might of the hive.
For every Kommandant on the field, up to five operatives may deploy (e.g., 2 Kommandants require a team of 10 Mercs to maintain balance).
If player counts do not fit this ratio, please adjust your teams manually before the match officially begins to maintain a fair fight.
