Installation

For the vanilla launcher

Install the latest version of the Fabric Loader for the version of Minecraft you want to play.
Download your desired release.
Extract your downloaded zip.
Navigate to %appdata%/.minecraft.
Place the folder you have extracted into your .minecraft directory.
Open the launcher and the profile that the Fabric installer has created.
Update that profile's game directory to be the Anvil modpack folder.

You can now play the modpack!

For the Twitch launcher

You will be able to get Anvil through the Twitch launcher soon!

Recommendations

If you want to enhance the vanilla experience even more, head over to VanillaTweaks and check out their vanilla improving resource packs and datapacks.
Setup your custom cape on the Minecraft Capes website.
Optionally recommended mod, AutoSwtich [Fabric].
Set a custom icon for your vanilla launcher profile with the icon located in anvil-assets.

Known issues

I cannot render a replay.

This can be caused by a few issues.
1. Sodium incompatibility. ReplayMod cannot render replays with Sodium installed. To fix this you can simply move the Sodium jar out of your mods folder and replace it when your render is finished.
2. You must install ffmpeg to use ReplayMod. Download ffmpeg.
Forge mods do not work. Anvil can be launched with Forge thanks to the Jumploader mod, this provides the pack with simple compatibility with the Twitch launcher, however cannot allow Forge and Fabric mods to be compatible.
I cannot see smooth grass sides. You must have a resource pack that is properly compatible with the LambdaBetterGrass mod, which requires a custom format.
I cannot reassign Litematica keybinds. You cannot reassign Litematica keybinds via the normal menu, you must either do it in the Litematica config menu or litematica.json file.
