What's the motivation behind this modpack?

AnimeCraft was born out of an idea to make a large anime-themed modpack for Fabric. Nearly all anime themed modpacks are only available on Forge, and the two that I could find available for Fabric don't appear to contain any anime specific mods or resource packs according to their lists.

What anime references have been included?

Many well known animes such as Jojo, My Hero Academia, Konosuba, and more. Many mobs have been reskinned, new weapons like famous swords are included, and vanilla items like anime meme music discs are included.
