LavenderSMP is a roleplay SMP launched for small group of content creators. Inspired by the modpack used on QSMP, this is our take on the idea. The pack includes beautiful biomes, naturally generated dungeons, improved vanilla structures, additional hostile mobs and Quality of Life improvements. Using storytelling, we expand the world by exploring new lands to fight what we fear and finally find the person responsible for bringing us all together.

The story of LavenderSMP

You find yourself in the middle of a platform facing a gigantic beast. The ground under your feet is rough and gritty. All you are wearing is a flimsy Leather Armor. This will not be able to take much of a beating in this fight.

The wooden sword in your hand feels more like a mockery to you than a threat to your opponent. You are terribly aware how limited its impact will be. As you stare at the monster in front of you, trying your best to find an opening, as plan your attack. Every passing second you become more and more aware what a hopeless situation this is. Feeling the ground crumble under your feet, you realize: There is nothing to lose.

If you don't make a move, you are doomed. Determined to not give up you raise your arms and storm forward towards the beast, but as predicted it is way faster than your blade and not only does it dodge you but sends you flying back. A sudden pain as you crash into the ground and slider across the dirt. You hear the thundering steps of the enemy. You close your eyes hoping it will just be quickly over.

As you feel the world slip away one last thought goes through your head. "How did I end up in this situation?" The next thing you hear are birds singing. You open your eyes. You find yourself on a small island, surrounded by walls. Butterflies are dancing across the sky and it almost seems too peaceful to you.

Was it just a dream?

Next to you you find a lectern with a book.

"Oh, you poor soul.

I found you unconscious, covered in bruises and scraps. Whatever befell you must have been dreadful indeed. I am uncertain what evil attacked you, but take heart no darkness will be able to follow you here.

I have casted a protective veil over this sanctuary. While it keeps the strongest beasts away and the darkness beyond its bounds, weaker monsters may still roam these lands. I will try my best to keep the barrier up as long as possible, so … please be careful, and take good care of each other.

Transporting you to this sanctuary and raising the barrier demanded more of me than you can know. The effort has greatly diminished my strength, and I must now withdraw to recover. I shall return soon. When next we meet, it shall be face to face.
