What happened to 4.0? It was a mini-stepping stone that was first implementing Cobblemon and skipped with testing.

Speaking of Cobblemon, we now have Pokemon in minecraft! Cobblemon is an open-source minecraft mod not officially affliated with Pokemon and nor is this modpack. A handful of add-ons have been included as well. One of the add-ons connects Create and Cobblemon and adds a shared fan passion of Pokemon to the pack.

This version comes with a warning: Update all of your individual controls. There's a handful of new control overlap. I'm personally not looking to include the control setup I use as not everyone can copy it and others have already customized it themselves. The main important ones is R and M. Both of these are utilized in Cobblemon and with Oculus (Shaders) and FTB Chunks.
