This mod pack is highly oriented towards advancing oneself so as to be able to both protect your base of operations and take out your rivals, however there are more threats than just the players. With several mods adding mobs to actually present a threat to the player and mods to provide more interesting dungeons to raid there are ways to play both on a server with many friends/rivals and in single player.
