Welcome to a Tale Past, our first instalment of the Tale series! Past is a modpack that focuses on creating an immersive experience, offering a large number of vanilla+ themed mods. Befriend magic and machinery to create mechanical workshops or magical caverns, and progress through this tale by exploring, delving deep, and hopping through dimensions. Be sure to wear protection though...
TL:DR: Spawn, die, gear up, travel deep into the dimensions, craft workshops made out of magic and cogs, and progress to the End. It's not as easy as it sounds.
Who?
With a 169 (and counting!) mods focused on giving you an expanded experience, there’s sure to be something for everyone:
The Explorer might enjoy diving deep underground to fight hordes of monsters in the dungeons of Dungeon Crawl, only to loot chests containing incredible treasures from Dungeons Gear and Enigmatic Legacy. Perhaps there is even more treasure to be found on the Ender islands, or the Undergarden below the cysts of bedrock?
The Engineer inside of you will have a blast exploring the automation process of Create, using cogs and shafts to power machinery! Give the redstone dust generated by Supplementaries about a week or two to settle, and you won’t even remember what nature used to look like. Don't worry, you’ll have plenty of blocks to build your own little bubble using a collection of Macaw’s building additions!
The Mage will (literally) have a blast, by crafting their own spells and runes through the magic of Ars Nouveau. Looking to offer your soul to the dark lord instead? Eidolon's rituals and sacrifices will help you do just that.

Looking to play with friends, or make them as you play? You'll find that ATP comes with our EU SMP server added to the server list, making it able to play online right away! No whitelisting needed :)
Expectations
A Tale Past is currently a work in progress modpack, with a small passionate team working on improvements behind the scenes. While it’s not fully there yet, we’re at the point that we’re happy to share the modpack with others in order to gather their feedback.
