A Cut Above [DISCONTINUED]

Welcome to A Cut Above. Like the name implies, this pack is meant to be better than vanilla Minecraft. It's a lightweight, 1.16.5 modpack that completely overhauls the survival system, uses less popular yet more useful mods, and doesn't affect progression whatsoever. In some sense, this pack is making vanilla harder, yet more enjoyable. With this modpack, you'll be able to prosper if you're dedicated enough. 

• With Survive and First Aid, the survival system you know is completely overhauled. Now, instead of having to focus on just food, you need to also worry about hygiene, temperature, stamina, thirst, and your health bar is replaced with a modular health system based off of your body parts. Paragliders adds Heart Capsules from LoZ: BoTW, which can increase all your body parts' health by 1 heart per capsule.. Be careful with your body temperature during each serene season, perhaps consider some kind of armor lining?
• This mod takes a more simplistic approach to filling certain aspects that most modpacks use. Instead of Refined Storage, this pack uses a mod called Simple Storage Network, a mod that is even easier to use than Refined Storage, but can take up space after some time. 
• Upgraded Netherite brings even better versions of our new hellish material, having numerous upgrade options for armor and tools alike, each upgrade having a unique set effect. Spartan's Weaponry adds tons of new weapons to choose from, it's your call as far as what you'll choose for your weapon. If melee doesn't interest you, you can use Ars Nouveau's spells for combat and utility alike.
• Mods such as Mystical Agriculture and Simple Farming adds a way of gathering resources and food via crops. You can use the crops from Simple Farming with Cooking With Blockheads to concoct some delicious, fulfilling meals! You can also grow your crops with Botany Pots.
• Tons of mods add to the exploration part of the game, some being Sophisticated Backpacks, Quark, Traverse, and YUNG's Better Caves/Mineshafts. Within the caves, you can find revamped dungeons, and light your way using a miner's helmet. If you want to find a specific biome, you can use Nature's Compass to find any biome, including the brand-new End biomes, ocean biomes, and the remastered vanilla biomes! Also, you can craft a paraglider very early on that allows you to sail across great distances.
• This modpack adds TONS of animals to the wild. Ranging from cockatoos to bears, you'll find all sorts of fauna whilst traversing the land of your world. 
• This mod adds ALL of Macaw's mods (e.g. Furniture, Roofs, etc.) and a few others, such as Chisels & Bits and Fairy Lights. Remember, a part of Minecraft is going wild and making structures to your liking. Also, the Natural Decor mod adds not only tons of decoration options, but also adds tons of plants and flowers to your world.
• Apotheosis adds tons of new enchantments, bookshelves, and a new enchanting system. If mastered, you'll conquer the entire world using your godlike empowered tools and armor. Harnessing the power of Arcana, Quanta, and Eterna, you can combine all these 3 celestial powers to power your enchanting table more than you could ever imagine.
• Silent's Mechanisms adds a simple and vanilla-like way of doubling your ore output and powering things such as a Building Gadget. We also have a massive mod called Create, which allows for decoration and aesthetic automation alike.
