ZongHeng Railway automatically builds Create-based railway networks while the world generates. Instead of placing tracks, stations and signals yourself, you explore a world where the rail infrastructure is already there: lines run across biomes, connect regions, and are built out of real Create components, so they can be inspected, extended or torn down like anything else you build.
This is an unofficial fork of TongDa Railway, released under the same GPL-3.0 license. Original authors: hello_luckyhuang, MarbleGate, MagicalChao. Upstream project: https://github.com/Hello-LuckyHuang/TongDaRailway
## What this fork changes
- Renamed to ZongHeng Railway. The mod id is now `zongheng_railway` and the package is `com.orange838.zongheng`. Because the mod id changed, this fork cannot be installed together with the upstream mod.
- Added the `generateRailwayEverywhere` config switch (default: on). When enabled, every railway region generates a network, restoring the behaviour of upstream versions before 1.1.0. When disabled, generation is limited to the area around the world origin, matching upstream 1.1.0 and later.
- Replaced the hardcoded region distance limit with the `maxRegionDistance` config option (default: 100 regions), so the limit can be adjusted without rebuilding the mod.
The rail planning algorithm, the blocks and the Create integration are unchanged from upstream.
## Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.x
- Create (required dependency)
Ponder and Flywheel are shipped inside Create and do not need to be installed separately.
## Configuration
The mod config exposes two options:
- `generateRailwayEverywhere` (boolean, default `true`) — master switch for full-world generation.
- `maxRegionDistance` (integer, default `100`) — how far from the world origin railway regions may generate when full-world generation is disabled.
## License
GPL-3.0, same as upstream. Source code is available on GitHub; if you redistribute a modified build, you must also make the source available under the same license and keep the original authors credited.
