Zombie King
Adds a rare and dangerous Zombie King variant to your world — a crowned zombie that, once it spots a player, calls in reinforcements to overwhelm them.
⚔️ Features
👑 Zombie King
A rare zombie variant that behaves just like a normal zombie except:
- Wears a golden crown assembled from floating gold blocks — instantly recognizable at a glance.
- Immune to sunlight — it will never burn during the day.
- Has a 13% chance to replace a normal zombie whenever one would naturally spawn (including from spawn eggs).
- Only one Zombie King can exist near a given player at a time.
- The moment it targets a player, it calls forth its guard.
🛡️ Armored Zombie Soldiers
When the Zombie King engages a player, it immediately summons 7–10 Armored Zombie Soldiers:
- Fully equipped in diamond armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots).
- Wielding a Sharpness V diamond sword.
- On death, each has a 5% chance to drop one piece of its equipment.
💣 Crazy Bombers
Once every Armored Zombie Soldier has been defeated, the Zombie King unleashes its last line of defense:
- Crazy Bombers — baby zombies wearing a block of TNT on their head.
- They charge straight at the player and self-detonate on contact.
- Explosion power matches a real primed TNT block.
- Capped at 2 Crazy Bombers per Zombie King.
🎯 How an Encounter Plays Out
- A Zombie King has a small chance to spawn in place of a normal zombie at night (or from a Zombie spawn egg).
- It behaves like an ordinary zombie until it spots you.
- On first sighting you, it summons 7–10 Armored Zombie Soldiers to surround and overwhelm you.
- Cut down every soldier, and the Zombie King sends in up to 2 Crazy Bombers to rush you and explode.
- Survive the assault (and maybe collect some diamond gear along the way) to finish off the King itself.
📦 Requirements
| Minecraft | 1.21.1 |
| Mod Loader | NeoForge |
⚠️ This mod must be installed on both the server and the client. It registers new entity types, so a vanilla/unmodded client will not be able to join a server running this mod.
🖼️ Notes
- All three entities reuse the vanilla zombie model/texture — the diamond armor and TNT headgear render automatically through vanilla's equipment layers, so there's no visual inconsistency with the base game's art style.
- The King's crown is a purely cosmetic effect (a ring of floating gold blocks) and does not grant any armor value — the Zombie King's combat stats are otherwise identical to a normal zombie.
