Steps to follow:
In order for the vaccine to cure the infection, you will need to add it in the config file of the Hordes mod. For the uncraftable version: Do this by making an entry titled: "cure:vaccine" where "minecraft:golden_apple" is. After this is completed, consuming a vaccine will cure the infection.
