Zitoen Piece – Addon for Mine Mine no Mi
NOTE: LOTS OF READING (also there's a chance I forgot to include some stuff)
This is the release of the mod, so bugs are expected to happen. Update 1 will cover bosses, bug fixes, more config options, balancing and a new Haki mastery mechanic.

Zitoen Piece is an addon that makes Mine Mine no Mi feel closer to One Piece. The goal is to improve gameplay, add more depth, and expand the world with new systems and features.

REWORKED HAKI SYSTEM
Haki Specialization
You can no longer unlock every Haki ability (added 13 NEW Haki abilities btw). You must choose which Haki path you want to focus on (you're not locked to any Haki TYPE, but more so the freedom to choose which Haki abilities you want to master).
Each Haki type now has 3 sub‑stats that affect ability scaling + ability unlocking.
So basically, you can now make Haki builds, each of you specializing in different Haki abilities.
Added Conqueror's Haki EXP
Total Haki EXP has now become a UNIVERSAL pool, this means that if max Haki is set to 300, it won't be 300 for Buso and 300 for Ken. It now means that your total Haki is 300 and you can now decide yourself which type of EXP you want to fill it up with.
IMPORTANT: I was able to change Mine Mine no Mi's config -> Max Haki in the config is now 1000. (Don't panic) I added this change because of my Total Haki EXP rework.
Summary: So if you put the Haki limit to 1000 in MMnM's config file -> you now have 1000 EXP points to go for, you could do 350 Conqueror's (which is divided into sub-stats), 200 Observation and 450 Armament. Or just 1000 Armament for example. It's all up to you now (and obviously 1000 is the limit, I'm not saying it's the default value)
You can now unlock Haki abilities by training certain combinations of sub-stats, after that you have to finalize the unlock process by using Willpower Tokens.
Willpower Tokens are obtained by killing Bosses + Training Haki. Every 10% Total Haki EXP = 2 Tokens
There will be a lot more ways to get tokens in the future.
Haki Awakening
Each Haki type awakens separately.
Armament Haki
Awakens by:
- Dealing damage
- Taking damage
- Killing mobs
Observation Haki
Awakens by:
- Staying in dark areas
- Taking damage
- Traveling long distances
- Surviving near‑death moments
Conqueror’s Haki
Awakens by:
- Killing bosses (right now it's just: Vice-Admirals, Notorious Captains & Lala)
- Killing players (has a cooldown)
Armament and Observation awaken automatically when you meet the requirements. Conqueror’s awakens when you drop to around 15% HP, but only if you already have enough progress.
Awakening Haki gives you the base abilities, these abilities are the ONLY universal ones.
Armament: Hardening & Imbuing
Observation: Aura Sense & Intent Sense (NEW)
Conqueror's: Haoshoku Haki
Haki Affinity
Every player is born with a natural Haki affinity. Your affinity makes one Haki type grow faster and awaken sooner. (A way to check your affinity will be added later.)
Haki Blooms
When in dire situations, sometimes you can experience a Haki Bloom, Haki Blooms will make your Haki grow a lot. These Blooms last 5 minutes (and have a 5 min. cooldown). Experiencing a Haki Bloom will give you some HakiCost back (in your Haki bar) AND gives you DOUBLE Haki EXP gains during these 5 minutes.
CONQUEROR’S HAKI CLASHES
When two players use Haoshoku Haki at the same time, a Conqueror’s Clash begins.
- A minigame appears where you must press the arrows on your screen
- Your Conqueror’s sub‑stats affect your power in the clash:
- Dominance (×0.5)
- Intensity (×0.3)
- Control (×0.1)
- Winning gives Dominance EXP and restores some HakiCost
- Losing stuns you
If both players have 80+ Dominance, the skies split and the weather clears (future mechanic removes clouds).
HAKI CLASHES (Armament)
If two entities use Armament Haki and attack at the same time, a Haki Clash starts.
- Haoshoku Infusion adds colored lightning around the weapon/fist
- Emission users clash from a longer distance
- If both use Emission, an advanced clash happens and the air cracks
- Advanced clashes can also split the skies
(Haki Clash chances are also configurable)
IMPORTANT: Both types of clashes (Conq + Armament) are still WIP and bound to improve, I'm releasing this mod mainly for feedback and for others to enjoy playing with

Haki Menu
A new Haki Menu has been added to the Player Stats Screen (press R). The menu shows:
Your Haki Skilltree & Sub-stats.

The sub-stats show how to train them by hovering over them, you are also able to set a cap on a sub-stat to not train more than necessary. (Useful if you already know what type of build you want)
SYSTEMS
Zitoen Piece adds many new systems to make the world feel more alive and closer to One Piece:
TRAITS (config)
Traits give unique bonuses and change how you play. You get one trait per character.
Will of D. – 2x Conqueror’s progression (you also get a “D.” in your name)
Lazy – 20% increased Haki regen
Big Eater – When full hunger: +4 armor and sometimes regeneration
Royalty – Spawn with a Territory Flag
Noble – 2x belly gain from all sources
Talented Learner – Increased Doriki gain + higher Haki Bloom chance
Celestial Dragon Blood – Higher chance for rare fruits from boxes
Three‑Eyed Lineage – Spawn with Voice of All Things
Loyal – Deal 10% more damage and take 10% less when near teammates
Underdog – Deal 10% more damage and take 10% less when fighting stronger players
Blinded – You are blind, but start with Observation Haki + infinite Aura Sense with no cooldown (disabled by default)

WEAPON GRADE SYSTEM
Every weapon in the game now starts as UNGRADED. To reveal a weapon’s grade, you must find a Smith to appraise it. (btw Smith is explained further down)
- Grades affect weapon damage and armor stats
- Higher grades = stronger weapons and armor
- Smiths can re‑appraise a weapon once
- A weapon cannot naturally go up in grade
- The only way to increase a grade is:
- Becoming a Blackblade (future mechanic)
- A Smith’s one‑time re‑appraisal
PROFESSION SYSTEM
Professions are chosen in the Character Creator when you first spawn. Professions are not combat‑based. They work more like jobs (and yes an Unemployed profession is coming) and give you useful non‑combat abilities.
(Current professions with content: Cook, Smith, Navigator)

Cook
The Cook profession focuses on food, cooking, and improving meals.
Cook has 2 abilities: "Cook" and "Chef's Kiss" [PASSIVE]
A Cook can:
- Cook raw meat with the "Cook" ability
- "Chef's Kiss" grants unique bonuses as your profession's level increases
- Gain chances to duplicate cooked food [Chef's Kiss[
- At high levels, cooked food can give random positive effects [Chef's Kiss]
You level your profession by cooking a lot.
Smith
The Smith profession focuses on weapon and armor quality.
Smith has 2 abilities: "Appraise" and "Metalsmith" [PASSIVE]
(Smith will get a 3rd ability in the future called "Forge", also, max level Smiths will get a very important feature in the future)
A Smith can:
- Appraise (inspect) weapons and armor to reveal their grade
- "Metalsmith" adds chances to receive double ore drops when mining
- Skilled Smiths can re‑appraise weapons once to see if they made any mistakes when deciding its grade (locks the grade forever unless it becomes a Blackblade)
You level your profession by appraising and mining ores.
Navigator
The Navigator profession focuses on tracking, scouting, and locating players or structures.
Navigator has 2 abilities: "Pinpoint" and "Manhunt"
A Navigator can:
- Reveal nearby structures
- Show teammate coordinates
- “Manhunt” allows a navigator to get the coords of a random non-ally player without knowing their name
- Later upgrades show the player’s name
- High‑level Navigators can choose which players to track (will be balanced by notifying the tracked player)
You level your profession by traveling the world.
CURSED BLADES SYSTEM
Some blades can become cursed through certain actions. Players with Voice of All Things can remove a curse by “speaking” to the blade and asking it to leave (shift + right‑click).
Cursed Weapons have one of these four personality types:
-Sadistic
-Hungering
-Chaotic
-Proud
All other details about curses are secret and must be discovered in‑game.
Big News Morgans (Newspaper System)
Big News Morgans is a world‑wide newspaper that delivers a new paper every 60 minutes. The newspaper tracks major events happening on the server and reports them to everyone. (you can read the newspaper by hovering your mouse over the item, eventually you'll be able to open it by rightclicking the item)
Current tracked events:
- Defeating a Notorious Captain
- Defeating a Vice‑Admiral
- Defeating a player (special message if you defeat someone with the same last name)
- Defeating a Celestial Dragon
More events will be added in future updates.
Territory System
The Territory System works together with the Territory Flag item. Placing a Territory Flag lets you claim land and create your own territory.
Only Pirate Captains, certain Marine ranks (config), certain Revolutionary ranks (config), and eventually Bounty Hunters too. When you place a flag, you name your territory, after that a Territory Core spawns (this is an entity)
The core can only be damaged during War Mode (/territory war start)
If the core is destroyed, the territory is gone and can be claimed again. You can upgrade your Territory Core using belly (increases HP + Armor)
The config gives you a lot of freedom to adjust how the system works
Duel System (WIP)
The Duel System is disabled by default because it requires the server/world owner to set coordinates for the duel arena.
You can invite players to duel you.
System is functional but still heavily WIP (More features will be added later).
Limb Loss System
During combat, you can lose a limb (currently only the left arm).
- Losing your arm gives you slowness
- You can heal your arm by using a Medic Bag
- Logia users automatically regrow their arm using their element
- Special interactions for Jiki and Axolotl users will be added later
- Many config options available
Age System
Your character now has an age. This is purely cosmetic and meant for roleplay. No gameplay effects yet.
You start with the age 18-25 (random) and the aging process happens server-side.
Last Name System
You can choose a last name for your character. This is also cosmetic and used for roleplay.
You do get a unique article if you defeat a player with the same family name as you.
TITLE SYSTEM (WIP)
Doing certain actions will give you titles. System is not functional yet (heavily WIP).
HONOR LEVEL SYSTEM (WIP)
Your Honor Level changes based on who you kill.
- Killing players with much lower Doriki lowers your Honor
- Lower Honor increases your punishment (stat loss) when you die
- Honor does not decrease if it was self‑defense
NOTE: System is not functional yet (heavily WIP)
BOSSES
Lala, King of Humandrills
The only boss for now. Update 1 will focus on adding more bosses and reworking Lala.

ITEMS
Road Poneglyph Purely decorative for now. Will receive a major update in the future.
Haki Knot Crafted with 9 Strings (3x3). Used for the Haoshoku Sealing ability.
Sealed Haki Knot A Haki Knot with Haki sealed inside it. Right‑click to unleash the stored Haki. You can only carry one at a time and cannot store them (for balance).
Willpower Reset Resets your entire Haki build:
- Refunds all Tokens
- Refunds all bought abilities
- Resets all Haki sub‑stats
Devil Fruit Removal Token Removes your Devil Fruit.
Blindfold (WIP) Makes you blind while wearing it. Will increase Observation Haki EXP gain (not implemented yet).
