ZelParasite is a Forge 1.20.1 mod (tested on Forge 47.4.10) created to replace unreliable command block systems during multiplayer events of Zelfro (Minecraft YTBER). It provides a clean and automated way to manage teams, roles, and a global event timer.

Features

1..Automatic team setup using a single command:

Survivors
Admins
Parasite (master)
Ghosts (dead players)

2..Team reset command to quickly clear all event teams if needed.

3..Integrated event timer:

Start a default 2-hour countdown
Pause the timer
Manually set the timer duration in seconds

4..Death-based role progression:

When a player dies, they are automatically assigned to the Parasite team (with the mod Phayriosis Parasite Infection and identity fix (morph) applied).
If the player dies again, they are moved to the Ghost team and switched to spectator mode.

5..User Experience Impact

ZelParasite greatly simplifies the organization of Minecraft event : "Survive 2 hours to parasites" by removing the need for complex command blocks and manual team management. Hosts can set up the entire event in seconds, while players experience smooth and automatic role changes based on in-game deaths. This results in fewer errors, better immersion, and a more reliable event flow.

This mod is designed specifically for Zelfro's event and is not intended for standard survival gameplay.
