# Lvnatic's General license
**Version 1.2**\
Copyright © 2026 Lvnatic
This license applies to any creation that lists this license as its license, together with its associated files, assets, documentation, & other original content covered by this license (collectively, the **"Licensed Content"**) & distributed by **Lvnatic** (the **"Licensor"**).
By installing, modifying, or otherwise using the Licensed Content, you agree to the terms of this license.
## 1. Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in the Licensed Content remain with the Licensor or the respective original creators & rights holders, as applicable.
This license does not transfer ownership or copyright of the Licensed Content to you. It only grants you the permissions specifically described in this license.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all original models, textures, animations, artwork, sounds, code, documentation, & other assets included in the Licensed Content remain the intellectual property of the Licensor, contributors, or their respective original creators, as applicable.
This license does not grant rights to any third-party content, trademarks, or intellectual property that may be included in or associated with the Licensed Content.
## 2. Permitted Use
You are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the Licensed Content for personal purposes & for the specific uses expressly permitted by this license, subject to all restrictions & conditions contained herein and subject to termination under Section 12.
You may:
- Install & use the Licensed Content for personal use.
- Use the Licensed Content on Minecraft Java Edition servers.
- Use the Licensed Content on monetized Minecraft Java Edition servers as permitted under Section 8.
- Include the Licensed Content in Minecraft Java Edition modpacks in accordance with Sections 3, 4, & 5.
- Modify the Licensed Content for private use.
- Create & publicly distribute forks, modified versions, derivative addons, or other derivative works only with explicit permission from the Licensor and in accordance with Section 6.
- Make any other use that is expressly permitted by this license.
All permissions granted under this section remain subject to the restrictions & conditions described elsewhere in this license.
## 3. Attribution
When the Licensed Content is included in a publicly distributed modpack, derivative addon, project, or other publicly distributed work, appropriate credit must be given to the Licensor.
Credit must clearly identify Lvnatic & the relevant Licensed Content. Where reasonably possible, the credit should also include a link to the official project or download page.
Where applicable, existing attribution or contributor credits included with the Licensed Content must not be removed or intentionally obscured.
Attribution may be provided in a reasonable location appropriate to the type of project, such as a modpack description, project page, credits file, documentation, or similar location.
Content such as videos, streams, screenshots, reviews, showcases, & similar media does not require attribution, although credit is always appreciated.
## 4. Modpacks
You may include the Licensed Content in Minecraft Java Edition modpacks without obtaining additional permission from the Licensor.
Modpacks may be distributed publicly through any platform on which the original Licensed Content is officially distributed by the Licensor.
The addon itself must remain available through its permitted distribution source & may not be reuploaded as a separate downloadable file for the purpose of replacing, mirroring, or bypassing the Licensor's official distribution.
Modpack creators may modify the Licensed Content for compatibility, integration, configuration, or other reasonable purposes necessary for inclusion in the modpack without obtaining separate permission from the Licensor.
These modifications may not be separately published or distributed as an independent derivative addon without explicit permission from the Licensor.
Appropriate credit to the Licensor & the Licensed Content must be provided in accordance with Section 3.
All modpack distribution remains subject to the distribution platform restrictions described in Section 5.
## 5. Redistribution
Redistribution of the Licensed Content itself as a standalone download is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by the Licensor.
You may not:
- Reupload the Licensed Content to another website, platform, repository, or download service.
- Mirror the Licensed Content without explicit permission.
- Package the Licensed Content into a separate downloadable archive for redistribution.
- Distribute the Licensed Content in a way intended to replace, mirror, bypass, or circumvent the Licensor's official distribution.
- Claim the Licensed Content as your own creation.
Any public distribution that is otherwise permitted under this license must take place only on platforms on which the relevant Licensed Content is officially distributed by the Licensor.
As an example:
- If the Licensed Content is officially distributed only on **Modrinth**, any permitted public distribution must also take place only on **Modrinth**.
- If the Licensed Content is officially distributed on both Modrinth & CurseForge, permitted distribution may take place on either or both of those.
The presence of an unauthorized copy, reupload, mirror, fork, or other version of the Licensed Content on another platform does not make that platform an authorized distribution platform.
These platform restrictions apply to all forms of permitted public distribution under this license, including modpacks, authorized derivative works, forks, compatibility versions, modified versions, and similar projects.
This section does not prohibit legitimate modpack distribution as permitted under Section 4, provided that all requirements of Section 4 & this section are followed.
## 6. Modification and Derivative Works
You may modify the Licensed Content for private use without obtaining additional permission from the Licensor.
You may create & publicly distribute a fork, modified version, derivative addon, or other derivative work based on the Licensed Content only with explicit permission from the Licensor.
Any authorized derivative work must:
- Provide appropriate credit in accordance with Section 3.
- Clearly identify the original Licensed Content on which it is based.
- Comply with the distribution platform restrictions described in Section 5.
- Comply with all other applicable terms of this license.
Permission to create or distribute a derivative work does not grant permission to extract individual models, textures, animations, sounds, artwork, or other assets from the Licensed Content for independent use in another project. (See Section 7)
The limited modification permission granted to modpack creators under Section 4 does not constitute general permission to publish or distribute a standalone fork, derivative addon, compatibility addon, or modified version of the Licensed Content.
Any public distribution of a derivative work without the Licensor's explicit permission is prohibited.
## 7. Asset Usage
Individual assets contained within the Licensed Content may not be extracted, copied, adapted, converted, or reused independently in another project without explicit permission from the Licensor or, where applicable, the respective original creator, including, but is not limited to:
- Models
- Textures
- Animations
- Artwork
- Icons
- Particle effects
- Sounds
- Other original visual or audio assets
You must obtain explicit permission before using such assets in another addon, mod, resource pack, datapack, game, server project, website, application, commercial product, or other independent work.
This restriction applies regardless of whether the other project is commercial or noncommercial.
Permission to use the Licensed Content under another section of this license, including permission to include it in a modpack or create an authorized derivative work, does not automatically grant permission to extract or independently reuse its individual assets.
Any permission granted for asset reuse applies only to the specific use authorized by the Licensor or respective rights holder & does not grant unrestricted rights to the asset.
## 8. Commercial Use
Use of the Licensed Content on commercial or monetized Minecraft Java Edition servers is permitted.
A server may generate revenue while using the Licensed Content, including through:
- Ranks
- Cosmetics
- Crates
- Donations
- Subscriptions
- Paid server access
- In-game purchases
- Sponsorships
- Other similar forms of server monetization
However, the Licensed Content itself may not be sold in said revenue streams, paywalled, sublicensed, rented, licensed for a fee, or otherwise offered in exchange for payment.
You may not require payment specifically to obtain, download, unlock, or gain access to the Licensed Content itself.
All commercial server use remains subject to the other terms & restrictions of this license.
## 9. Content Creation
You may freely create, publish, & monetize content featuring the Licensed Content without obtaining additional permission from the Licensor including, but is not limited to:
- Livestreams
- Screenshots
- Reviews
- Tutorials & guides
- Showcases
- Social media content
- Articles & blog posts
- Promotional or informational content
Such content may be monetized through advertising, sponsorships, subscriptions, memberships, donations, or similar forms of content monetization.
Attribution is not required but appreciated.
## 10. Minecraft Java Edition & Bedrock Edition
The Licensed Content is intended for use within the **Minecraft Java Edition ecosystem**, specifically in connection with Cobblemon where applicable.
Use of the Licensed Content in **Minecraft Bedrock Edition is expressly prohibited** without explicit permission from the Licensor including, but is not limited to:
- Bedrock addons
- Bedrock mods
- Bedrock resource packs
- Bedrock behavior packs
- Bedrock servers
- Bedrock Marketplace content
- Bedrock ports or conversions
- Conversion of the Licensed Content into Bedrock-compatible formats
- Extraction, adaptation, recreation, or modification of the Licensed Content for use in Bedrock projects
You may not port, convert, adapt, recreate, extract, or otherwise use the Licensed Content or its assets for Minecraft Bedrock Edition without explicit permission from the Licensor.
These restrictions apply regardless of whether the resulting Bedrock project is commercial or not.
## 11. Third-Party Content
The Licensed Content may include material created by third parties or material that is subject to separate licenses or terms.
This license applies only to content for which the Licensor has the necessary rights to grant the permissions described in this license.
Third-party content remains subject to its respective license, terms of use, or other applicable rights & restrictions.
Where third-party attribution or license information is included with the Licensed Content, it must be preserved where required by the applicable third-party license or terms.
## 12. License Violations
If you violate the terms of this license, the permissions granted to you under this license may immediately terminate.
Upon termination, you must cease the unauthorized use, distribution, modification, or exploitation of the Licensed Content & remove any unauthorized copies, derivatives, ports, reuploads, or other content that violates this license from public distribution.
If you fail to remove or cease the unauthorized content within a reasonable period after being notified, the Licensor reserves the right to pursue further enforcement action.
This may include, where applicable:
- Copyright infringement reports
- Platform takedown or removal requests
- DMCA takedown requests
- Copyright claims
- Other legal or administrative remedies available to the Licensor
The Licensor may choose to restore the permissions granted under this license after the violation has been fully resolved.
Nothing in this section limits any other rights or remedies available to the Licensor under applicable law.
## 13. License Changes
This license applies to the version of the Licensed Content with which it is distributed.
The Licensor may release future versions of the Licensed Content under updated or revised license terms.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, changes to this license do not retroactively alter the license terms under which an earlier version of the Licensed Content was originally distributed.
Continued use of a newly released version of the Licensed Content is subject to the license terms provided with that version.
## 14. No Warranty
The Licensed Content is provided **"as is"**, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
The Licensor does not guarantee that the Licensed Content will be free of bugs, errors, compatibility issues, interruptions, or other problems.
The Licensor is not responsible for damage, data loss, server issues, incompatibilities, or other problems resulting from the use of the Licensed Content, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
