A real card game, inside Minecraft
This is not a card-shaped decoration. Every one of the 1,242 cards is a working item with its own artwork, stats and rules text — and 899 of them have a hand-coded effect, including 469 of the 481 Spells and Traps. If a card says it does something, it does it.
The catalogue covers the first ten TCG expansions in full: Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Magic Ruler, Pharaoh's Servant, Labyrinth of Nightmare, Legacy of Darkness, Pharaonic Guardian, Magician's Force, Dark Crisis and Invasion of Chaos.
Duel anywhere
Craft a Duel Table, or carry a Duel Disk and challenge any player on the server with a right-click. No opponent around? Duel Bot plays a copy of your own Deck. Whoever hosts picks the format — single game, best of three, best of five — before anything starts.
Between games, swap cards from your Side Deck and declare yourself ready. The loser of the previous game opens the next one, exactly as the real rules demand.
Build, or don't
The Deck Box holds a Main Deck, an Extra Deck and a Side Deck, and enforces the real construction rules. Prefer to skip that step? Ten prebuilt Decks are ready to play straight out of the box: eight classic Structure Decks plus Yugi's and Kaiba's Starter Decks, reproduced card for card.
Hunt for the rest. Every monster you kill drops a card, sometimes a booster pack, occasionally a whole Structure Deck. Bosses pay properly: the Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden and Elder Guardian each hand over a Structure Deck and five packs.
Cards worth looking at
Every copy carries one of five rarities — Common, Rare, Super, Ultra, Secret — each with its own foil, sheen and sparkle, visible in your hand, in the duel field, and in the searchable card catalogue. Right-click a card to raise it and read it up close, like a map.
Booster packs pull only from their own expansion, and always end on something better than a Common: Rare guaranteed, Super 20 %, Ultra 5 %, Secret 0.5 %.
